I used SOCK MONKEY!!!

Well here's my "boy" monkey card AND it's sock monkey to boot! I actually find sock monkey to be a bit "freaky" even though I have a stuffed monkey as a kid and loved him till his fur fell off and his banana cracked, I just haven't been able to get into this set, so to say I'm quite pleased with this card is putting it mildly!!!

It's time for ice cream!

I'm not normally a monkey kinda girl, but I was challenged to do two monkey cards. Isn't this image cute! This is my "girlie" monkey, see my boy monkey tomorrow ;)

Trying a new fold

This is called a "Double Aperture" card, basically it's two windows with a "Screen" on the inside.
And don't ya love these new colors? Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and Bermuda Bay - Yum!

Angel Kitty

I love this kitty in yellow and purples, the background is the "ink, spray, smash" technique that's also been Cuttlebugged.

I'm off to the woods

But before I go, I thought I'd share my cowboy done in Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry!

When I heard the name of the new cardstock, this was one of the first things to pop into my mind!

How about a pretty

Another IB&C case, the flower is stamped then I re-stamped on scrap paper, cut out the flower the leaves and the bee and popped them up on pop dots, added some ribbon and some half pearls from the Pretties Kit and called it good!

I'll be nice today

Cased this idea from page 93 of the current SU IB&C - don't forget that it is a great inspiration tool!

Sneak peek anyone?

This is the pheasant from the new Autumn Days stamp set that will be for sale starting July first.
This card didn't turn out like it looked in my head, I think mind was playing tricks on me!

The Cardstock is Dusty Durango, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, Kraft, and Garden Green.

Let Freedom Ring

This image was a free download from Vintage Workshop.com, if you join her newsletter she shares a free image every six weeks or so. Anyway I paired this up with some cuttlebugging, some distressing and some embellies - isn't it purdy?

Flower Soft Anyone?

Can you see the dimension in the flower blossoms? I used Flower Soft to get that effect, oh boy I think I'm in love with this new medium!!!

If You See This

Then you're not at Stamp Camp today are you? Actually we made these little purses at the last stamp camp but I wanted to share this version with Kraft and the Bella Rose paper - oh la la reminds me of something by Vera Bradley ;~)

How About A Cuppa?

I was rakked these GinaK "Cuppa Joe" images. I paired it up with an older SU coffee set, added some "Superman" colors Pacific Point, Summer Sun, and Real Red! Which was a difficult color combo for me but I like them with the Kraft so I guess it's alright ;) You can't tell from the photo but this is a matchbook card, the front slides under the punched Pacific Point edge.

Peach and Purple Daisies?

I don't know if there's such a thing as Blush Blossom and Lavendar Lace daisies, but I love this color combo together!

Cheers My Friend

Guess I'm still on a drink kick :) I cased this card from SCS but made it my own by making it all SU! The coloring was done with the SU markers and blended with rubbing alcohol. I know it's not a vibrant as Copics but it's pretty darn close!!!

A Challenging Layout

I got this card sketch from Fiskars.com, I love tags but this one stumped me. I decided to emboss the Penny Black flower and use Ranger Alcohol inks over it for a polished stone effect. I still can't decide whether or not I like this one.....
