You Were Always On My Mind

Today is our 24th wedding anniversary! I have no idea what or if we're doing anything other than a quiet dinner at home, but I knew I would be miserable if we couldn't spend this day together in some way.

This is another card that I made to send over to the men and women serving our country.

Loves Me, Loves Me Not?

It's time to make some more cards to send overseas. Our men and women stationed over there really appreciate anything we send them! This card is pretty simple, I generated the sentiment in MDS, used my Top Note, some Concord Crush C/S & ribbon, and some paper daisys (don't know who makes these, they were a gift from my WR secret friend) Enjoy!

Operation Write Home Act 2

This is another lovely for the Operation Write Home campaign.

Something For The Guys

This is one of the cards that I made to be sent to Operation Write Home, everything is SU except the embossing folder in the background.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl

What "girlie" girl wouldn't love to recieve this blingy card from a loved one over seas? I love this SU! set unfortunately I think they brought it out a little before it's time - you wouldn't believe how many people have asked about it since I made this card!

Sailing Away

Another in the Operation Write Home campaign that I think would be appropriate for any guy in your life.

A Bright Happy B'day

I used some unusual, bright colors to create a card that could be sent home to any lady for her birthday.

Take me fishin'

Wouldn't this be appropriate for a dad, a brother, a son, a nephew, heck most any guy could relate to this one ;-)

Always on my mind

Another card I made for the Operation Write Home campaign, this one could be used for an anniversary, thinking of you, love you, etc.

Red Sky At Night

I really enjoy these StampScape stamps so easy to work with when stamped directly onto a photo!!!

Folded Flower

This large flower is made using the Dahlia fold technique and double sided paper. I think it would be nice for someone to send home to any lady in their life.

Bird of Happiness

Isn't this guy just too cute! How could anyone not be happy looking at him?

Vintage Pocket card

For the recent Operation Write Home card roundup I made this pocket card. On the inside there is a pocket that holds an additional sheet of paper so that some service man or woman can write an extra long note to a loved one back home.

Might As Well Accept It

I "loves" me some funny people stamps ;) And I think this card says it all!

Thanks Pegg!

One of my Michigan Mingler friends and I traded some images. She wanted some old SU! Wolf images and I wanted some "mooses" she got the hunter and I saved a moose :~)

Stars In My Eyes

Another Rockin' card for the troops to send home to loved ones!

Not A Sock Monkey Girl, But...

I have to admit he's kinda cute on a pocket card for a soldier to send home to a child!

It Was 1970 Something

This card was inspired by a set scene from the old TV show "Laugh In" since I was under 10 years old in 1970 I don't think this is something I saw much of unless it was in re-runs! Anyway the daisy's are from SU! Daisy Die, the background was a RAK, everything else is SU!

Valentine of a different color

I used the Always set from SU! and some contraband patterned papers to make this "unique" valentine for the men and women stationed overseas. The paper and brads were a RAK from a friend, everything else is SU!

For a Boy's Birthday

This is another card made for the Cards for Heroes roundup I participated in, this Crab & Co. image from SU! seemed to fit the ticket. Almost everything is SU! except the "Raindots" that I used for embellishment to keep the bubble look going.
