I haven't put a saying on here yet, I think I'm leaning toward "Always be thankful" and rounding out the Thanksgiving look here, whacha think?
I'm not sure who makes the image, which I colored with Copics, and the lower right corner is done with a cuttlebug folder, the background is the wheat stalk from SU's Autumn days set.
I'm participating in the WishRak "Cards for Troops" drive over at SCS. We were supposed to use a cute or happy image & colors to make a card for a "Just Because or Miss You"
I promise I've got some new goodies on the way! I've been busy stamping so I haven't had a lot of time for updating, but that will be changing soon! Hang with me!
I've been curious to see what the new in-colors would bleach to. Melon bleachs to banana! Who'd thunk that? And Bermuda bay bleachs to celery! And isn't it a lovely combo together?
Just playing and trying to kill a couple of birds with one stone ;~) Lots of dots going on here, all the c/s is ran through the cuttlebug Swiss dots folder, the birdie is colored with copics,(everything else is SU!) and the layout came from: http://prairiepaperandink.typepad.co...y-fielder.html
I really miss this set! I love it with some of the newer accessories, but I was also in a mood to play with some older techniques. This one has a "rice" background - simply take a balloon or make a pocket with saran wrap and fill it with rice kernals and then use that as a stamp@
Just playing and trying to kill a couple of birds with one stone ;~) This is a mini pizza box! I'm not sure who makes the apple image, but it'll be a great box for my WishRak secret exchange partner in September!
This is called "Faux Chinese Latern" simply stamp and color your image, then run it through your crimper, highlight the raised ridges with ink, and finish your card! How easy is that???
What do you think of this one? Another easy peasy card! I used the new Floral Bouquet embossing folder, then I hit the center of the flowers with Black Stickles, added the oval sentiments, and some ribbon - Sweet!
This is using the new Medallion background stamp - very pretty!!! All I did was stamp it with Chocolate Chip, add the new Bridesmaid speciality paper, the new ribbon originals, and a half pearl from the pretties kit. That's it, done and beautiful!
Okay, I was reading on Splitcoast ways to photograph your crafts better. Now I really don't have any special photo editing software (I'm hoping SU!'s new Ditigal Studio will help me out on that) and I've priced PhotoShop - that is so not in the budget! But I used what I do have and I followed some of the advice, over the next few days you'll see the fruits of my labor - you tell me if the photo's look any better, okay?
This card was made using SU!'s new Dasher stamp and the Level 2 hostess set called Christmas punch. Dasher is embossed in black and the sentiment is embossed with Hologram Highlights.
This is another image that I received from Wishrak, this one came from Monika. I colored Fluffy with Copics, then added a lot of textured cardstock. I think this one's going to my neighbor who's really gotten into "boob" dogs lately ;~)
This is an image that I received from my WishRak from Billie, the patterned paper was a Rak from Debi - thanks again ladies! I colored the image with Copics and played around with a different layout, what do you think?
