Too Cute!

In early February a bunch of us from SCS got together in Port Huron for Lunch, after lunch we went to Hobby Lobby who had these darling little pails. Now I could get pails with ribbon for $2.99 each or I could get pails without ribbon for $0.79 - now this is a no brainer to me, but what ones would you get?

Heck I've got ribbon, I've got a Crop-a-dile, I got the $0.79 ones!!!! It went from a plain pink pail with nothing to this:

What do you think???

Do you think my fellow Michigan Minglers will likey?

IT'S TIME!

Have a great weekend everyone! I'm off to Bay City to stamp for the next 48 glorious hours with about 75 fellow Michigan SCS'ers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Cowboy

One of my customers always teases me because my email used to come from "Jeff" we've since fixed that so that it now says "Jeff and Patty" since our family uses the same email as my customers, but have I ever introduced you to Jeff?

He's my cowboy (even though we don't have cows anywhere) he's my Peter Fonda in Easy Rider (we don't have a bike anymore either) he's my Chuck Norris in Lone Wolf McQuade (and yes we do have wolf photos and figurines around the house) and he's my rock when I need one!

This is use in 1987

This is him now, and he's hungry and tired and grumpy, so I'd better go feed him!

What's New?

Hmmm...I'm trying to remember what I've shown you lately....

Have I shown you this lovely?

It's a little gable box that I got in the $$$ Store and had three in a pack.
I wheeled the new "Friendly Word" Jumbo wheel onto it, then I colored the background with Copics, then I stamped the bird with black onto Orchid, cut him out and layered him over the background for some dimension - he's much prettier in real life ;)

Workshop Projects

This is some of the projects that we're doing tomorrow night at my hostess club gathering.

This sweet and simple coffee mug holds A LOT of goodies! I did them at Christmas decorated with snowflakes and filled with cocoa, a marshmellow santa, a chocolate covered peppermint stick and Hershey Kisses. They made cute gifts on my co-workers desks! I also think they'd be darling don't for a bridal shower, but this one I did for my son. I filled this one with a granola bar, some sunflower seeds, a hickory stick, and a crystal light lemonade packet :~)

This sweet cupcake card uses the SAB patterned papers and ribbon, the cupcake was colored with SU! markers then I used the aqua pen to "pull" some of the color back out, and sprinkled with cosmo glitter and added a curdory button.
This one is a "woulda been" after I got it all done I realized Winds of Grace is retired, now that I think about it so is the rope!
But I like it anyway!
The background is done with my new Big Shot texture plates though - that's new it should still count shouldn't it?
All right I know I can't use it so I'd better go make something else - gee darn ;~)

A Different Look

At least for me! This isn't colors that I use a lot but I'm very happy with "cheery" card!

Certainly Celery and Cameo Coral mixed with Bashful Blue and Yellows, add in the row of chicks at the bottom of the DS paper and the spring posies colored with Copic Markers and you have a recipe for Easter happiness!

I think I'll add some Peeps to this!!!

Lovin' This!

Between the new Beautiful Butterflies Die and the new Friends 24-7 set, the Parisian Breeze papers and the new ribbon pack I'm on a roll with this look!

The same card done once in Creamy Caramel and Baja Breeze, then again in Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip.

ETA - Here's a link to the card that I was inspired by, Lisa is one of the artists that I stalk ;~)

Longing For Spring

I am so ready for spring! And this new Parisian Breeze Specialty paper from SU! screams spring to me! I love the soft colors and it's perfect to use with the new Beautiful Butterflies Big shot die too! And check out the new White Organza ribbon, yummy, yummy~!~

I made this into a tri-fold pocket that perfectly fits two Target Choxie Chocolate bars, I'm not sure yet but I think one of my Michigan Mingle buddies might be the receiver of this beauty ;~)

This is all Stampin' Up! I used the negative image of the butterfly cut out as a stencil, the new felt flowers and rhinestone brads (I popped the rhinestones on the front butterfly out of the actual brad, like the look but I can't say I'd do that again!) as accents.

So I'm really, really, really - REALLY REALLY - curious which one is your favorite?
Here's a group shot:
