A Bright Happy B'day

I used some unusual, bright colors to create a card that could be sent home to any lady for her birthday.

Take me fishin'

Wouldn't this be appropriate for a dad, a brother, a son, a nephew, heck most any guy could relate to this one ;-)

Always on my mind

Another card I made for the Operation Write Home campaign, this one could be used for an anniversary, thinking of you, love you, etc.

A little Birdie told me

This set is so easy to use! The image is stamped then colored with chalks!!! I used the Z Fold fancy fold to keep with the clean crisp look.

Red Sky At Night

I really enjoy these StampScape stamps so easy to work with when stamped directly onto a photo!!!

Folded Flower

This large flower is made using the Dahlia fold technique and double sided paper. I think it would be nice for someone to send home to any lady in their life.

Bird of Happiness

Isn't this guy just too cute! How could anyone not be happy looking at him?

Vintage Pocket card

For the recent Operation Write Home card roundup I made this pocket card. On the inside there is a pocket that holds an additional sheet of paper so that some service man or woman can write an extra long note to a loved one back home.

Unique Sympathy Gift

Played around with making a pin by cutting chipboard with the Beautiful Butterflies die, stamping, sponging, and embossing with about three coats of clear E.P. This is a birthday card for one of my co-workers

"Almost Artisan" Day Ten Elegant Folds

"Almost Artisan" Stampin' Up! Artisan Contest entry idea number 10.

This is the last card idea - an elegant, watercolored, criss cross/pull out fold card, did in an invitation style. (all names are made up) This was also an idea for the bridal tea shower (which I still haven't heard back on)

So quite frankly my mojo is used up and although I never expected to win anything, I'm truly not sure that I ever want to put myself through this again! I attempted to meet all of SU!'s requirements which were, in my understanding, to show a variety of styles and do your most professsional work. I thought I did okay on showing a variety of styles... maybe I need to work on my professionalism? Perhaps I need cleaner stamping, straighter cuts, and better hand writing..... I don't know.... I do know that when you take the joy out of it and start doubting yourself it just isn't worth the pain!

I hope you've enjoyed my "artisan" attempts and just maybe you got an idea from me somewhere along the line that sparked your mojo because I do this to "share what I love"

This is the next in the card ideas series - I actually did share this at one point, but I pulled it down, re-vamped and tweaked the idea, then decided to send it in for this contest. I wanted the teapot to have an enamel paint look so I mixed just a pinch of white Embossing powder into the clear embossing powder to give it an aged look.
